My talented friend, Marta and I collaborated on these shots taken on a recent roadtrip to Nashville. I made the headress and she took the shots. Fun.

Elysian Ball: Oleander

Marta and I showed our line “Oleander” at the Elysian Ball last night. It was an evening filled with performance art, fashion, burlesque, video and sculpture hosted by Angela Eve and Christophe Guaspohl. It was an artistic bonanza and we had a blast.

I think one of the reasons I live in Chicago is because I can wear boots so many days out of the year. I *heart* boots.

SteamPunk Fashion Show: Oleander

My lovely and talented friend Marta and I worked our little butts off creating two costumes for the Steampunk Fashion Show under our tiny costume line named ‘Oleander’. The show, organized by Read My Hips Bellydance Company was loaded with edgy and boundary-pushing design. It was an honor to be a part of such a refreshing show. BCJ Photography took some really solid shots of all the fashions and performances for the evening.
